IoBM Event Management Class Fall '11 brings to you The "IoBM Film Fest '11" where the youth of Pakistan has a chance to depict the beauty of the streets of Karachi in a Short Film produced, directed, edited, acted and shot by the people who know it more than anyone else, YOU.
So pack up your cameras, align your teams and make way for us to ink our pens to write the history books in which will go down the Best Film ever to be made in the world that portrayed their city in the way done never before.
To help you further in your conquest, here are the details:
Only films that meet the following conditions may be chosen for invitation to the Official Selection:
- Films that have not been presented in any international motion picture event. If the film (short) has been selected in an international section (competitive or not) of a festival, it becomes ineligible for the IoBM Film Fest�????�???�??�?�¢??11
- Films that have not been shown on the Internet
- Short films that do not exceed 15 minutes in length, including credits
Primary focus: Theme-Karachi
Create a short film that offers the audience an entertaining and interesting insight into our community. Each film should be unique and cover a diverse range of issues, ideas or images. Creativity and simple story-telling is the key to a successful and meaningful short film.
