What is Talent Idols?

Talent Idols (Ti) is a portal of budding talent, a portal which allows your inner creative genius to show cast its full potential to the right target audience. Ti welcomes you to the wondrous world of fame and fortune, glamour and recognition. You can take this opportunity to maximize your energy levels and enthusiasm and become an overnight sensation through Ti.

Who may enter the Talent Idols Competitions?

Got talent? Get it featured now! Talent Idols is a platform for anyone and everyone who has some awesome or unique talent and would like to get their talent recognized. Ti is an excellent competition portal with an extensive list of categories, where you can get your talent showcased and become famous overnight while winning some amazing free prizes and rewards (monetary). Our aim is to cater to ALL talents so we provide a unique opportunity to create bespoke competitions and categories in order to cater for less known talents. Thus, there is no way; your talent would go unseen or unheard at TalentIdols. Also if you are a corporate manger/ entrepreneur or simply a marketer, TalentIdols is the perfect place to get your brands featured and recognized by your target audience by creating an engaging competition related to it.

How can I become part of TalentIdols?

It's as simple as putting the cookies in a jar! Or rather that would be difficult if you can't resist the temptation to eat them ;) Simply hit the "Sign up" tab present on the top-right side of the portal. The tab will take you to another page where you can fill out the required info and become our registered user.

Create your profile, find friends, add them to your network, participate in various competitions created by TalentIdols or other parties at the website, view, like or rate videos across various categories of competitions or even create your own competition. Thus, with TalentIdols, you have endless possibilities to ensure that your talent does not go unnoticed.

What type of competitions Ti hold?

TalentIdols is an extensive video competition portal. Essentially, there are two types of competitions, one being organized by Ti itself, others being organized by individual competition owners. Recognizing the fact that talent exists in numerous categories and forms, TalentIdols will bring competitions of various categories ensuring everybody will have an equal opportunity to participate in our competitions. Some of the popular categories are sports, music, dance, household etc.

How do I participate in a competition?

Once you have registered to Ti, You will be able to see couple of featured competitions. You can enter any of them. In order to participate in any competition, you would need to click the "Join Competition" tab present on the top right side above the competition banner.

What video formats and video size can I upload on TI?

Virtually all of them! Following are the video formats supported at TI: 3gp, Avi, Flv, Mp4 and Quicktime formats. The maximum video size allowed is of 25 MB.

Which competitions can I take part in?

Virtually all of them! ? However, there are few competitions created by third parties other than Ti that may require invitation from owner. Also, some competitions may be moderated by nature. That is your submission may require prior approval from the owner of the competition. You would be notified via email once your submission is approved by the owner.

How do I know about upcoming competitions?

Upcoming competitions of various categories will be featured on the "Competitions" view. Check them regularly to stay updated. Also, mail subscribers would be notified about upcoming competitions via email.

Is there any eligibility criterion for participating in any specific competition?

Eligibility criteria may be defined by the owner of competition and it may include country of residence as of now.

How to create a competition?

Creating an account has a similar process as defined in the above section: How can I become part of TalentIdols?

Creating competition would require the owner to specify Basic Competition Details under following categories:

• Title: Here you have to specify the name/title of the competition created by you. *Specify word limit here for the title.*
• Introduction: A short description about the mechanics or details of the competition. Here you have to specify the main idea of competition that you wish to create. Specify word limit here.
• Category: Ti has certain pre-defined categories of competitions like Dancing, Variety and Singing etc. Major categories/parent categories have several sub-categories like Dancing Category has various dance forms as its sub-categories like Jazz, Hip-hop etc. You may select the most relevant category for your competition accordingly.

VOTING FOR A SUBMISSION

How do I vote for a video submission?

Simply go to the video by clicking its thumbnail or if you have got its link with you, go to it directly. Below the video, you would see tiny five golden highlighted stars on the right hand side. You may click one star to like the video or click multiple stars to rate the video.

What if I do not want to participate in the contest but still like/vote or view the videos?

You can view, like or rate videos without actually participating in the competition. However, by doing so, you would be subscribed to the competition and may be able to participate in the respective competition by uploading your talent video later on.

Is voting and liking a video different?

Yes, both have different outcomes. Like simply means getting your preference for a video acknowledged. However, rating a video means casting your vote in favor of a video/submission. Your votes may be considered for judgment of the received submissions (as per individual competition rules)

Where can I see all the videos and contestants of a particular competition?

On the navigation bar present above the competition visual, there is a tab called "Explore". Click to browse through all the videos and contestants of that competition.

How can I search for a particular competition or video?

There is a search bar present on the extreme top-right side. Enter the title of video/competition that you would like to search for.

Alternatively, go inside a competition site, visit the "Explore" tab and browse through your desired video(s)

How can I search for all upcoming competitions?

Upcoming competitions are being featured on the main home page. However, in order to view them exclusively, go to the home page, select the filter upcoming competitions under the category of competitions and view them.
